ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Friday suspended the two-day physical remand of senior journalist Matiullah Jan.
Islamabad High Court Chief Justice Amir Farooq and Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir issued the orders and directed authorities to consider the senior journalist in judicial custody.
Earlier on Friday, Matiullah’s physical remand was challenged in the Islamabad High Court .
The plea was filed by Matiullah’s counsel Imaan Mazari challenging the verdict given by Anti Terrorism Court judge Tahir Abbas Sipra.
