LAHORE:Race Course police Friday arrested a suspect involved in robberies in different areas of the City. According to police reports, the suspect identified as Akhtar was involved in criminal activities in Badami Bagh, Race Course, Mughalpura, and Shalimar areas. He was handed over to Investigation wing police. Police officials stated that Akhtar’s involvement in several high-profile robberies has been confirmed.
Rape attempt foiled
A suspect was arrested for attempting to assault a woman on Friday. A call was received at the Virtual Women Police Station from Layyah that a suspect dragged a woman to a house to assault her. Locals heard the screams of the woman and overpowered the suspect. Meanwhile, the Virtual Women Police Station dispatched police to the scene and the police arrested the suspect.
