LAHORE:Six unidentified bodies were found from different areas, according to an Edhi Foundation spokesperson.

In Tibbi City, a 25-year-old man was found dead, while body of a 55-year-old man was found in Chuhng. Bhati Gate police reported the body of a 50-year-old man, and in Nawankot, a 65-year-old man was found dead. Additionally, two victims of traffic accidents succumbed to their injuries—one in Garden Town and another in Gulberg—while receiving treatment in hospital. The identities of all deceased individuals remained unknown. Police shifted the bodies to mortuary.

Fire erupts in house in Sadr Cantt

A fire broke out in a house situated near Landa Bazaar, Sadr Cantt, Lahore on Friday. According to Rescue-1122 staffers, emergency response vehicles reached the site and are engaged in extinguishing the fire.

Three motorcycle thieves held

Shad Bagh police arrested three members of a motorcycle theft gang on Friday. According to a police spokesperson, accused identified as Shehzad, Saif, and Yousaf Masih were arrested and two motorcycles, illegal weapons, and cash were recovered from their possession. The accused were wanted by police in several cases.

Dance party raided, 10 detained

Police raided a dance party in the Burki area and detained 10 people, including women on Friday. Police took action following reports of illegal activities at a venue and during the raid cop identified as Ejaz sustained injuries after falling from a wall attempting to enter the out-house. He was shifted to Lahore General Hospital. Various items were confiscated from the farmhouse and a case was registered against the detainees.

Two suspects held

Dolphin Squad apprehended two armed suspects in the Mozang area, recovering a pistol and a stolen motorcycle. According to a Dolphin Squad spokesperson, the incident occurred near Mozang Adda when a patrol team signalled two suspicious motorcyclists to stop. Instead, the suspects attempted to flee. The suspects, identified as Abdul Rehman and Robert, were caught near the Janazgah. Upon search, the police found a pistol in their possession, and records confirmed that the motorcycle was stolen. The suspects were handed over to Mozang Police Station.
