The Sindh police Health Funfair was held on Friday at the Police Headquarters Garden, with Additional IG Karachi Javed Alam Odho attending the event.
Senior officers, including the ADIG Admin, SP Headquarters, DSP, and families of police personnel, were also present. According to the spokesperson, the event featured ten stalls offering a variety of services for police families, including general and mental health, dental care, women’s health, children's health, polio vaccination, education, lab tests, and food stalls. These stalls provided free medical and educational services, with doctors offering assistance to attendees.
The spokesperson further noted that over 70 people had received free medical tests, and 120 children were vaccinated against polio at the designated stall. The aim of the Health Funfair was to raise health awareness and provide educational resources to police families, while also creating a fun and engaging environment. Additionally, the event included the distribution of Healthy Lifestyle Awards to police officers, doctors, and others who contributed to the success of the health fair.
