Eighth seed Noor defeated Yassin Shohdy from Egypt 11-6, 9-11, 11-7, 11-9 in 50 minutes in the second round. Now, he will face second seed Delcan James from England in the quarters. However, sixth seed Asim Khan lost to top seed Abdullah Al Tamimi from Qatar 6-11, 4-11, 11-8, 5-11 in 41 minutes in the quarters.
