Aseefa highlights women’s contribution in Pakistan
Event attracts approximately 6,000 dignitaries and advocates for women’s empowerment and gender balance
KARACHI: First Lady Aseefa Bhutto Zardari made a prominent appearance at the Global Women’s Forum in Dubai, where she shed light on the invaluable contributions women have made to Pakistani society.
Organised by Dubai Women’s Establishment, its inaugural session was attended by Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE Sheikh Muhammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Emine Erdogan, First Lady of Turkiye and Her Highness Louise Araneta Marcos, First Lady of Philippines. The event attracted approximately 6,000 dignitaries and advocates for women’s empowerment and gender balance.
During the panel discussion, Aseefa highlighted the positive contributions of women in Pakistan. She also held a bilateral meeting with Sheikha Latifa Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture & Arts Authority, Member of the Dubai Council and Member of the Executive Council of Dubai. Aseefa also interacted with Mona Ghanem Al Marri, Chairperson of the Board & MD Dubai Women Establishment.
