PESHAWAR: A two-day painting and fashion exhibition kicked off at the lone cultural venue - Nishtar Hall - on Wednesday.Jointly organised by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority (KPCTA), Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women’s University, Peshawar, the Department of Archaeology and Museums and the Bank of Khyber, the exhibition featured over 100 pieces of paintings and models of fashion design created by students.
The exhibition was part of the Dosti Peshawar Women’s Literature Festival that is going on until November 29 at the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women’s University Peshawar.KPCTA Director Umar Arshad Khan, who was the chief guest, inaugurated the exhibition. Tashfeen Zia, Dr Hamida, Sameera Gul, Sania Siraj, Dr Zarmena Baloch and Fariha Sami and a large number of teachers and student, and lovers of arts and fashion attended the event.
The exhibition showcased over 100 paintings created by students, including themes such as lotus flowers and cultural colours along with various other artistic concepts.The students of fashion design displayed models of their designs, which were well responded.
