A man was shot dead by unknown assailants on the outskirts of the city on Wednesday. According to initial reports, the incident occurred near Ghaggar Phattak within the jurisdiction of the Bin Qasim Police Station. Rescue teams transported the victim to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, where he was later identified as 20-year-old Sarfaraz, son of Najam Uddin.
While some unconfirmed reports suggested that the victim might have been killed while resisting a mugging attempt, a spokesperson for the Karachi police stated that the shooting appeared to have been the result of a personal dispute. At the time of reporting, no case had been registered, and further investigations into the incident were ongoing.
