CDA enhances Haj quota to 60 employees

Islamabad : On demand of the CDA Mazdoor Union (CBA), the CDA Board has approved enhancement in the number of employees going on Haj from 50 to 60.

According to a notification, now 54 male and six female non-gazetted employees will have the privilege of performing Haj with their ‘Mehrams’ every year.

It should be noted that earlier, 48 male and two female employees of CDA used to go for Haj with their ‘Mehrams’.

General Secretary of CDA Mazdoor Union Chaudhry Muhammad Yasin thanked Chairman CDA Chaudhry Muhammad Ali Randhawa, Board Members and CDA administration for enhancing Hajj quota.

He said that CDA Mazdoor Union is a representative organisation of the workers and its objective is welfare and well-being of the workers and their service without discrimination.

The CDA Mazdoor Union believes in bilateral negotiations and will continue the spirit of serving the workers in the same manner and all the problems of the workers will be resolved soon.
