LAHORE: The Women’s National Selection Committee has announced a 15-member Pakistan U19 squad for the upcoming ACC Women’s U19 T20 Asia Cup, scheduled to take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from December 15 to 22.
Zoofishan Ayyaz will lead the side as captain, with Komal Khan serving as vice-captain. The squad was finalised after a rigorous 21-day skills and fitness camp, which had 32 players. The camp featured three intra-squad matches to assess performance and readiness. The six-team tournament will feature two groups. Group A comprises Pakistan, India, Nepal while Group B includes Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Malaysia.
Top-order batters: Areesha Ansari, Fizza Fiaz, Maham Anees, Ravail Farhan and Zoofishan Ayyaz. Wicketkeeper-batters: Komal Khan, Wasifa Hussain. Spinners: Aleesa Mukhtiar, Quratulain, Rozina Akram and Tayyaba Imdad. Fast bowlers: Fatima Kha, Haniah Ahmer, Mahnoor Ze, Shahar Bano.
