BME exhibits mining expertise at IDEAS 2024
KARACHI: Bolan Mining Enterprise (BME), a joint venture of Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) and the government of Balochistan, highlighted its role in Pakistan’s mining sector by hosting a stall at the recently concluded 12th International Defence Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS 2024) at the Karachi Expo Centre.
The stall garnered significant attention, including visits from PPL’s Managing Director and CEO Imran Abbasy and Chief Operating Officer Sikandar Ali Memon, according to a statement by PPL on Wednesday.
Head of BME/BLZ Zeeshan Asghar and his team presented the enterprise’s achievements, innovative projects, and contributions to unlocking Balochistan’s mineral potential for national economic growth. Abbasy praised BME’s commitment to turning natural resources into valuable assets through innovation and sustainability.
The exhibit highlighted BME’s expertise in barite production, sustainable resource management and community welfare initiatives, drawing interest from both national and international delegates. BME’s participation underscored its position as a key player in the mining sector and its dedication to fostering global partnerships.
