KARACHI: Sindh Bank organised a Haj balloting ceremony at its Head Office, selecting four employees to be sponsored by the Bank for the pilgrimage in 2025. In its statement released on Tuesday, the bank said that the initiative aims to promote the spiritual wellbeing of its staff by supporting their religious obligations.
The balloting, conducted transparently through a computerised process, was presided over by President & CEO of Sindh Bank Muhammad Anwaar. Senior executives, including Deputy CEO Syed Assad Ali Shah and Head of HR & Training Baqir Hussain, were also present.
The principal candidates chosen for Hajj sponsorship include: Arif Rehman Solangi -- officer grade (OG)-I; Ali Raza -- OG-II; Jahanzaib -- OG-III; and Sajjad Ali -- tea boy/messenger.The alternate candidates selected are: Sagheer -- OG-I; Muratab Ali -- OG-II; Saddam Hussain -- OG-II; and Zeeshan -- tea boy/messenger.
