KARACHI: Almost half of Pakistanis have revealed in a survey they have not visited the utility stores till now.
The Gallup Pakistan survey was conducted with more 1,000 people across the country.
The survey participants were asked whether they have visited a utility store. Forty-seven percent revealed they had not visited a utility store. However, 45pc said they often visit utility stores. Eight percent did not answer the question. A detailed review of the results obtained from the survey revealed women and rural population are among those who said they do not visit utility stores.
In the survey, 51pc of women said they had never visited a utility store, while that of men the rate was 43pc. Among those who said they go, the rate of men was 51pc while that of women 39pc.
Talking about the rural population, 50pc percent of people said they had never been to utility stores while 41pc of urban population said they had not been to utility stores. The rate of those who said they go to the utility stores was 39pc in rural population, while it was 56pc in urban population.
