FIA arrests two suspects for illegal foreign currency transactions

The Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) State Bank Circle conducted a raid at the parking lot of the Karachi Stock Exchange and arrested two individuals allegedly involved in illegal foreign currency transactions.
The operation was carried out on the directives of the FIA Karachi Zone Director. The arrested suspects include Faisal, a branch manager at a bank, and Murtaza Raza. Authorities recovered USD 45,000, equivalent to over Rs 12.5 million, from their possession.
The suspects were reportedly involved in illegal foreign currency dealings, and the raid followed prior intelligence gathered near II Chundrigar Road. Based on a tip-off, the FIA team executed the operation in the Stock Exchange parking lot.
