KARACHI: Indus Motor Company Limited has announced to close its production plant for three days amid supply chain disruptions.
In a statement addressed to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Tuesday, the company secretary of Indus Motor said, “The company is currently experiencing a shortage of raw material and components, compounded by ongoing supply chain disruptions. As a result, the company is facing challenges in sourcing the necessary parts for vehicle production, which has impacted its ability to meet production requirements.”
The company has temporarily suspended operations at its production plant from November 27 to November 29.It is pertinent to mention that the IMC plant also remained shut from November 18 to 20.
