Five cops injured in Tank check-post attack

TANK: Six, people including five cops, were injured when suspected militants attacked the Gul Imam checkpost of the police in the district here on Monday.

It was learnt that the militants opened fire on the cops manning the checkpost, leaving five policemen and a civilian wounded.The injured civilian was said to be a driver, who was passing through the area when he was caught in the firing. The injured were rushed to a hospital in Dera Ismail Khan.A heavy contingent of the police arrived at the spot and launched a search operation.
