PTI protesters remanded by ATC for attacking police
Court ordered to discharge of five accused named in Dhamiyal police case

RAWALPINDI. The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC), Rawalpindi, has remanded 19 accused, including PTI leader Col Ajmal Sabir and Zahid Khaliq Kiani, on charges of attacking police personnel, damaging official vehicles, snatching official and personal items from police and taking them hostage during the PTI protest.
The court has given 19 accused to Dhamyal Police custody on a 5-day physical remand and given 27 accused to Sadiqabad Police custody on a 3-day physical remand on Monday. The court ordered to discharge of five accused named in the Dhamiyal police case. The PTI workers were arrested during the protest on Sunday and Monday. The police had requested a 15-day physical remand, but the court rejected and granted only 5-day and 3-day remands.
