LAHORE: Lahore Qalandars have officially named former West Indies captain Carlos Brathwaite as their skipper for the upcoming ExxonMobil Guyana Global Super League (GSL) 2024.

The decision underscores the franchise's confidence in Brathwaite's leadership abilities, extensive cricketing experience and deep familiarity with Caribbean playing conditions. Brathwaite, a core member of the Qalandars squad, has been a vital presence since joining the team. Known for his dynamic all-round capabilities, the veteran cricketer has captained at both international and franchise levels, bringing a wealth of tactical knowledge and on-field experience.
