Second trial to block unregistered VPNs begins
According to PTA sources, this trial of blocking VPNs will continue for two days

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has started the second trial of blocking unregistered VPNs through the firewall.
According to PTA sources, this trial of blocking VPNs will continue for two days while the practice of blocking unregistered VPNs will be conducted during the trial.
It should be noted that the PTA has given a deadline of November 30 for the registration of unregistered VPNs. Regular blocking of unregistered VPNs will be started from December 1.
So far, more than 25,000 VPNs have been registered.
