NOWSHERA: Provincial Minister of Excise and Taxation Mian Khaleeq-ur-Rahman and Member Provincial Assembly and district development advisory committee chairman Zar Alam Khan on Sunday said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) movement had entered a decisive phase, which will usher in a new era of development and prosperity.

Addressing the PTI workers from Nowshera district at the Rashkai Interchange on Peshawar-Islamabad Motorway stopover, they said the spirit of the workers was high and exemplary and they were fully prepared for their journey to Islamabad.

“No one can stop our path and the sit-in will continue unless our demands are met,” Zar Alam said, adding that their struggle would continue until the release of PTI’s founder, the supremacy of law and justice, and the abolition of the 26th Constitutional Amendment. The lawmakers said that the protest would continue until the objectives of this movement were achieved, claiming that a storm had already stirred in the rulers’ circles.

The rulers, they added, were now so terrified that they had launched a crackdown against the party workers and leaders and arrested them without any crime. However, despite the arrests, baton charges, and firing, the PTI workers caravan would reach D-Chowk at all costs.

They added that under the guidance of Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and PTI founder’s wife, Bushra Bibi, a large number of workers were heading to Islamabad, and the enthusiasm of the workers was worth seeing.
