ISLAMABAD: The Cabinet Division has decided to hire private appraisers to conduct value assessment of Toshakhana gifts.
The Cabinet Division has invited proposals from registered (Sales Tax and Income Tax) appraisers through PPRA’s modern EPADS system.
The items whose value will be estimated include jewelery (gold, silver, diamonds and precious stones), all types of watches and clocks, carpets, rugs, photographs, handicrafts, decoration pieces, electronic equipment and weapons, etc. Offers from evaluators have been invited till 11:00am on December 13 next month. Separate bids have been invited for three categories.
The selection criteria and valuation fee have also been specified for three categories.
