NOWSHERA: Unidentified accused shot dead a cloth trader on the Misri Banda Road in Akora Khattak near here on Saturday.

Muhammad Rahim, a resident of Khat Killay in Karimi Town, told the police that he had received information that his brother Muhammad Yousaf had been murdered by unknown gunmen near Dr Asad Zia’s clinic on Misri Banda Road in Akora Khattak.

He said that his brother’s body was later shifted to the morgue of the District Headquarters Hospital, Nowshera, for medico-legal formalities. The complainant said that his family had no enmity with anyone and would register a case once they had more information behind the motive of murdering his brother.

The slain Yousaf was a cloth trader who would take foreign fabric samples to Punjab and bring back orders to supply the cloth. The police have registered a case and started an investigation.
