Plastic pollution is a major concern in Pakistan, perpetuated by its widespread use across all sectors. Improper plastic disposal has severely impacted human livelihoods and marine life, leaving numerous ocean creatures dead on riverbanks and shorelines.
Everyday, I see people using plastic bags for even minor purchases. I would like to offer a simple suggestion: replace plastic bags with long-lasting cloth bags, a common practice in our forefathers' time. Why can we not adopt the same approach, reusing cloth bags for an extended period instead of discarding plastics randomly?
