ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Founder Imran Khan has ordered his wife Bushra Bibi to stay away from politics due to PTI leadership’s concern, it is learnt.
The majority of PTI’s central leadership also decided to dissociate itself from Bashari Bibi’s statement.
According to the party sources, the leadership of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is concerned over Bushra Bibi’s statement and Bushra Bibi has been asked to consult the party before any issue.
Sources said that Bushra Bibi will join the November 24 protest, but the role will not be central.
Sources said that Bushra Bibi tried to convey the message to PTI founder through Mashaal Yousafzai, but Mashaal Yousafzai could not get permission to meet Imran Khan in Adiala Jail on Friday.
According to the sources, due to the concern of the party leadership, the PTI founding ordered Bushra Bibi to stay away from politics.
Sources said that the party leaders are of the opinion that the video message was edited and uploaded, but how such a big mistake could be ignored. Even after editing the video, the timing of the statement issued is not correct.
It should be noted that last day Bushra Bibi said in her video statement when Imran Khan went to Medina barefoot and came back, Bajwa (former army chief Qamar Javed Bajwa) started getting calls as he was asked as to whom he had brought and they did not want such people.
According to Bushra Bibi, Bajwa was told that they were going to end Sharia law in the country and he had brought such a person. It was said that they did not want such people.
She said that afterwards their image was tarnished and PTI founder was started to be called a Jewish agent.
