An eight-year-old girl who was abducted in Faisalabad was rescued during a raid at a farm in the Sukhan area of Karachi, and one suspect was arrested.

Police said the girl was kidnapped on November 17, and a case of her abduction was registered at a police station in Faisalabad.

The police of District Malir used technical and human sources to rescue the girl from a farm on Sukhan Road. Police said the kidnapper was employed at the girl’s father’s buffalo farm in Faisalabad, and had kidnapped her with the intent of demanding ransom, bringing her to Karachi.

After the Punjab police sought the assistance of the Malir operations & investigation SSP, the Sukhan police conducted a raid.

The girl was rescued from the farm. Her family, along with the Punjab police, have travelled to Karachi. The suspect and the rescued girl will be handed over to the Punjab police.
