In Federal B Area, a block of a multi-storey residential building Fayyaz Plaza, located on Rashid Minhas Road, has fallen into a state of extreme disrepair, posing a serious risk to residents' lives.
To prevent a potential disaster and protect hundreds of lives, the Yousuf Plaza Police have written to the director of the Department of Archaeology in Karachi. According to SHO Uzma Khan of the Yousuf Plaza Police Station, Block L of Fayyaz Plaza is in a precarious condition and could collapse at any time, endangering the lives of the residents.
In the letter addressed to the director of archaeology, the police have requested the formation of a special team to assess the condition of Block L thoroughly and inspect the entire building.
