Art exhibition launched at PNCA
Islamabad: Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA), in collaboration with Nomad Gallery, launched "And Still I Rise," a powerful contemporary art exhibition that celebrates creativity, resilience, and empowerment. The event was inaugurated on Wednesday, 20th November 2024, at the Grand Hall and Gallery No. 3 of the National Art Gallery, Islamabad.
Ms. Nicole Guihot, Deputy Chief of Mission at the Australian High Commission, inaugurated the exhibition along with M. Ayoub Jamali, Director General of PNCA. The inauguration ceremony was attended by a distinguished audience, including participating artists and other prominent guests.
The exhibition features works by the following esteemed artists:
Ahmed Habib, Akram Dost Baloch, Ayesha Siddiqui, Hifza Khan, Kamal Hyat, Kulsoom Iftikhar, Maham Imran, Rakshanda Atawar, Rukhe Neelofar Zaidi, Samia Aslam, Samia Saad, Samina A. Akhtar, and Ubaid Syed.
The exhibition will remain open to the public until 25th November. The exhibition can be visited daily from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, except for Saturdays when the galleries are closed.
