Underage biking

I am writing to express my deep concern about the alarming rise in underage bike riding, a dangerous trend that poses a significant threat to public safety. This reckless behaviour not only endangers the lives of these young riders but also puts countless innocent pedestrians and motorists at risk. The consequences of such accidents can be devastating, leading to severe injuries, fatalities, and immense emotional trauma for families involved.

The authorities should intensify their efforts to apprehend and penalise underage riders and conduct widespread campaigns to educate young people and their parents about the dangers of underage bike riding and the importance of road safety. Parents must also do their part by monitoring their children’s activities and discouraging them from engaging in such hazardous behaviour.
