PESHAWAR: The Medical Teaching Institute of Gajju Khan Medical College (GKMC), Swabi, has earned the highest “W” category ranking from Khyber Medical University (KMU), Peshawar, under the Higher Education Commission (HEC) framework.
Securing an impressive score of 88.90percent for the 2023-2024 evaluation period, the recognition affirms the institution’s excellence in quality assurance and academic standards. This distinction follows KMU’s comprehensive assessment of Quality Enhancement Cells (QECs) across public and private institutions, where MTI-GKMC emerged as a leader in fostering educational innovation and rigorous quality benchmarks.
Prof Dr Shamsur Rahman, Dean/CEO of MTI-GKMC/BKMC, praised the achievement as a testament to the institution’s commitment to academic excellence. “This recognition reflects our team’s unwavering dedication to maintaining the highest standards in medical education,” he stated.
