Islamabad : The Quaid-i-Azam University has announced it will remain closed for four days, starting from November 22 (Friday) due to the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf’s protest planned in the capital city on November 24.
“Given the current situation in the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad, and anticipating road closures, it has been decided that the university transport services will remain suspended on November 22 (Friday), and November 25 (Monday),” the QAU said in a notification. It added that all academic activities and examinations would be halted during those days.
The university, however, said any examinations along with other academic activities would resume once the roads were reopened. It will remain closed for four days including Saturday and Sunday.
