ABBOTTABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and Member National Assembly Sher Afzal Marwat has expressed dissatisfaction with the performance of local lawmakers in Abbottabad and called for an end to such practice.
He said this while speaking to the party workers in the Bakot Union Council recently.
Marwat said the PTI had been in power in KP for the last over 10 years. “This area [Abbottabad] elected legislators in the past some of whom even became the chief ministers. But it pained me when I saw the poor condition of the roads here,” said the PTI MNA.
He said the roads in this area were next to nil. “This vividly shows the performance of the PTI ministers as well. “I cannot see here the manifesto of the party founder as no development work has been carried out here,” he lamented.
Marwat said the PTI representatives from the Bakot area had disappointed him.
He advised the PTI lawmakers to perform well now when the party had come into power in KP for the third time.
