ISLAMABAD: Many military and civil officers have been transferred by the federal government.
Rear Admiral Javed Iqbal has relinquished his charge and Rear Admiral Muhammad Hussain Sial has been appointed as Director General (DG) (Technical), Port Qasim Authority, Commodore Muhammad Khalid has been posted Director General (DG) (Operations), Port Qasim Authority, taking charge from Rear Admiral Shahid Ahmed, Captain Asif Jalil has been posted as Director (Hydrography), Port Qasim Authority, Commander Ali Kamran has been posted as Chief Engineer, Port Qasim Authority, Lt. Commander Muhammad Ali Iqbal has been posted as Deputy Manager, Security, Port Qasim Authority, and Lt. Commander Khaleequr Rehman has relinquished his charge and Lt. Commander Mubashir Ammar has been posted Assistant Manager (Security) Port Qasim Authority.
Appointments have been made on secondment basis for 3 years as per the prevailing rules and regulations.
Meanwhile, Bilal Haider, who was awaiting appointment in the Establishment Division, has been posted as Joint Secretary, National Food Security Division, while the services of Kashif Ali, District Team Leader, Central Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Foreign Commonwealth Development Office, Pakistan Administrative Service, Grade-18, have been handed over to the Sindh government.
Afshan Salman of Pakistan Audit and Accounts Service, Grade 20, has been posted as Treasurer King Edward Medical College, Lahore, on deputation basis for 3 years. Further, the deputation of Assistant Director CDA Sudhir Ahmed, posted in NHA, has been extended for another 2 years from March 2, 2025.
