Postings, transfers in FBR
Those who have been transferred as of Nov 15, 2024, they have been directed to relinquish posts, says notification
ISLAMABAD: FBR Chairman Rashid Mehmood Langrial, with the consultation of Member Income Tax Federal Excise Duty Sales Tax Dr Atiq Sarwar, has issued the notification of transfers and postings of BS-19 and BS-20 Inland Revenue Service officers with immediate effect.
According to the notification, Ms Tajamal Bilqis (BS-20) has been transferred from Commissioner IR (ICTO Zone), Regional Tax Office, Islamabad, to IR (AE & I Zone), Islamabad. Musa Munir (BS-20) has been transferred from Registration (Arrangement/HIR), FBR Headquarters, Islamabad, to Supreme Commissioner IR (ICTO Zone), Regional Tax Office, Islamabad. Dr Muhammad Khurram (BS-19) transferred from Commissioner IR (OPS) Commissioner Chiefs-III, Islamabad to (OPS) (Management/HRR) FBR Quarter, Islamabad. The notification states that these officers will take charge of their new postings immediately and the officers who are already getting performance allowance will be entitled to this allowance on their new postings as well. The officers have been directed to submit charge/discharge and takeover report to FBR immediately so that records can be completed. Meanwhile, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has issued a new notification vide Notification No. 2896-IR-II/2024, dated 8 November 2024, and No. 3012-IR-II/2024 of the Technology Board of All Inland Revenue Service.
Those who have been transferred as of November 15, 2024, they have been directed to relinquish their posts with an immediate effect. This decision is not applied to those officers who have already relinquished the charge.
