Nine die in road accidents in 24 hours

LAHORE : The Emergency Services Department (ESD) responded to 1,375 road accidents in all districts of Punjab during the last 24 hours. In these accidents, nine people died, whereas 1,424 were injured. Out of these, 626 people with serious injuries were shifted to different hospitals, while 798 victims with minor injuries were treated at the incident site by Rescue medical teams.
Suspects arrested
Green Town police arrested suspects, following a viral video of firing in the air. A case was registered against the culprits, and illegal weapons were also recovered.
