LAHORE : In line with Punjab Chief Minister’s vision for prison reforms, the Home Department has issued orders for large-scale transfers and appointments within the Prisons Department.
After receiving the Chief Minister’s approval, the Home Department announced changes in a total of 298 positions.
The reshuffle includes the transfer of seven Superintendents, 15 Deputy Superintendents, and two psychologists. Additionally, approvals have been made for the transfer of seven office superintendents, 29 assistant superintendents, 40 chief wardens, 30 head wardens, and 150 wardens from the Inspectorate of Prisons.
These transfers and appointments reflect the Punjab government’s commitment to implementing comprehensive prison reforms and enhancing administrative efficiency within the department.
