ISLAMABAD: More than 3,000 athletes belonging to different institutions are competing in the Prime Minister University Sports Olympiad that started here at the Pakistan Sports Complex Wednesday.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is likely to inaugurate the Games today (Thursday). The competition will be held in ten sports disciplines with the finals of the selected events to be contested on the last day -- November 23.
The competitions are being held in athletics, wrestling, swimming, volleyball, table tennis, weightlifting, judo, hockey, badminton and handball.
