PESHAWAR: Advisor to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Information and Public Relations Barrister Mohammad Ali Saif on Tuesday said that preparations were underway in all constituencies of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the protest on November 24.
Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has directed all elected representatives to intensify their campaigns in their respective constituencies, he said in a statement.
“To prepare for November 24, he said, rallies and corner meetings were being organized in all constituencies,” Barrister Saif stated.
He said that thousands of people, led by elected representatives from each constituency, would join caravans that would converge on the motorway and proceed to Islamabad under the leadership of Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur.
Barrister Dr. Saif warned the federal government to refrain from fascist tactics, or face the consequences. He emphasised that November 24 will be a day of supremacy for the Constitution and law in the country.
The advisor expressed confidence that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa would participate in large numbers, ensuring the success of the protest.
