ISLAMABAD: The federal bureaucracy has undergone a reshuffle with transfers and postings. Brigadier Wajid Sabghatullah, the outgoing director of the Airports Security Force (ASF), has been replaced by Brigadier Umar Saeed, who has been appointed as the new director of the ASF.
This appointment, made on a secondment basis, is effective immediately under the existing rules and regulations until further notice. Farhat Jabeen, Associate Professor of Economics from the Higher Education Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government, has been transferred to the Federal Directorate of Education, Islamabad.
Similarly, Shahzaib Sher, Assistant Director of the Sindh Population Welfare Department, has been transferred and posted as Assistant Director in the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) for the Sindh Region. The establishment division has issued formal notifications for these appointments and transfers.
