ISLAMABAD: Aleema Khan Monday said PTI founder Imran Khan’s message was to achieve freedom from slavery on November 24, as the government had razed all the three pillars of democracy.
Talking to the media outside the Adiala Jail, she said Imran Monday explained why it was important to come out on November 24. “There are three pillars of democracy; the current government has razed all of them and strangled the digital media; hence the social media has been banned.”
She said Imran Khan’s message was that if ‘we do not stand up now, the future generations will also remain slaves’. She said her brother’s call for protest was not just for the PTI but for every Pakistani.
“We are 240 million people. It is our duty to stand up for our rights. We know that difficult times are coming, but we should not be afraid.” She continued that the PTI founder had said that nothing would be able to stop the people from the freedom and that the overseas Pakistanis should realize the most and they should come out in their respective countries on the 24th.
