PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court (PHC) will today (Tuesday) take up the petition of Bushra Bibi, wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, who was seeking the details of the cases registered against her.
The PHC is going to hear the petition filed by Bushra Bibi seeking details of cases registered against her. According to the court’s cause list, the hearing will be conducted by a two-member bench comprising Chief Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim and Justice Wiqar Ahmad.
In her petition, Bushra Bibi made a request for the details of cases from the federal government, the Punjab and Islamabad administrations, and other relevant authorities.On October 29, the PHC directed the federal government and Punjab authorities as well as the Islamabad administration, and the Federal Investigation Agency to provide the details of the cases.
It may be mentioned that Bushra Bibi had been granted protective bail until November 18.Her legal counsel said that they would request the court for an extension in her protective bail during today’s proceedings.
