Youth parliament delegation calls on CJP
ISLAMABAD: A 60-member delegation of Youth Parliament headed by its Group Leader Faizan Daud called on Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali at Supreme Court here on Friday.
Chief Justice of Pakistan welcomed the delegation and gave them an overview of the judicial system of Pakistan and briefed them about the judicial and social issues being faced by the country. The CJ appreciated the spirit of the youth to serve the country and hoped that they being the future of the country will be working for the betterment of the country under the umbrella of such forums such as Youth Parliament, said a press release issued by the Supreme Court.
Members of the delegation also thanked the Chief Justice of Pakistan for his time and presented a souvenir as token of respect and gesture of goodwill. The CJP also reciprocated the gesture by presenting a memento on the occasion.
