Progress on police projects reviewed
LAHORE: CCPO chaired a meeting to assess the progress of police development schemes and welfare initiatives.
The CCPO directed the operationalisation of Liaquatabad and Hayer police stations within a month and called for expedited work on Harbanspura, Batapur, Johar Town, Shafiqabad, Samanabad, Wahdat Colony, and Nishtar Colony stations. He also instructed swift completion of the Ladies Barracks at Qila Gujjar Singh Police Lines and the Anti-Riots Headquarters in Harbanspura, emphasising timely execution of projects under the Annual Development Programme.
Rescuers workers praised
On the occasion of the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims, Parliamentary Secretary Ziaullah Shah visited the Rescue Headquarters to express solidarity with victims of road accidents.
During his visit, Shah highlighted the critical importance of providing immediate rescue services in the most challenging situations. He commended the efforts of rescue workers in saving lives.
