Just noise
The purpose of the talk show is to give an opportunity to its participants to share their opinions about certain issues but, unfortunately, the political talk shows in the Pakistani electronic media are becoming a headache that gives you nothing but a noisy hour. The talk show should be a good medium to convince the audience to form an opinion but certain participants from different political parties totally destroy its sanctity.
The anchors are sometimes totally helpless to control them and have no choice other than to go for a break. But the worst thing is when some of the anchors enjoy the situation and try to provoke it further. I believe a code of conduct should be developed or, if it is already there, it should be strictly applied.
