Rawalpindi : In a heartfelt effort to uplift and support the underserved community of Dhok Kashmirian, the Association of Business, Professional, and Agricultural Women (ABP&AW), led by Dr. Tahmina Azhar, organised a Health Camp aimed at promoting health, confidence, and a harmonious home environment.

The camp, which drew a large crowd of women and children, was a testament to ABP&AW’s ongoing commitment to community welfare and empowerment.

Tahmeena Malik, President of ABP&AW’s Islamabad-Rawalpindi Branch, opened the event with a brief introduction to the organization’s mission. Addressing the audience, she emphasized the importance of independence and confidence in daily life and that if you can bring up your children with discipline and order, they will grow into responsible citizens, contributing to a stronger and more positive social structure.

Dr. Tahmina Azhar focused on the importance of maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in homes, underscoring how these practices could reduce diseases and infections. She also highlighted the need for incorporating nutritious foods into children’s diets, explaining how a balanced diet could improve their overall health and academic performance.

Adding to the empowering message, Najma Shahid encouraged the women to practice gratitude as a cornerstone of healthy living. She explained how an attitude of thankfulness fosters emotional well-being and resilience, even in challenging times.

Beyond the educational talks, Dr. Tahmina Azhar personally examined over 50 women and children, addressing their medical concerns and providing necessary medications, including tablets, syrups, and supplements, free of charge.
