LAHORE : The celebrations for the 555th birthday of Baba Guru Nanak concluded at Nankana Sahib on Saturday.

Provincial Minister for Minority Affairs Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora alongside the Sikh community also participated in the event.

Federal Minister Chaudhry Salik, MPAs and members of the Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (PSGPC) also took part in the ceremony.

Sikhs from around the world, including from the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and India, attended the procession in large numbers.

The Sikh yatrees from different countries offered religious prayers and prayed for the prosperity and development of Pakistan.

The district administration also organised a spectacular fireworks display, which added the grandeur to the occasion.

Provincial Minister for Minority Affairs Ramesh Singh Arora praised the Deputy Commissioner of Nankana Sahib and officials of the Evacuee Trust Property Board for their contributions.
