LAHORE: Shahid Abdullah, the owner of a prominent business conglomerate in Pakistan, has been barred from travelling abroad.
Sources said that Mr Abdullah was stopped at Lahore Airport as his name was reportedly placed on a no-fly list.
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) is said to be investigating the affairs of several major power companies, with Mr Abdullah reportedly under scrutiny as part of the probe.
Meanwhile, close associates of Mr Abdullah have asserted that his business dealings are both transparent and lawful. They expressed their willingness to fully cooperate with the inquiry and provide all necessary details to the authorities.
