The Anti-Street Crime Cell of District Keamari raided a drug den operated by notorious gangster Jahangir Golden in Old Golimar on Friday, seizing a large cache of narcotics, including eight kilograms of hashish.

SSP Faizan Ali of District Keamari confirmed that during the operation, a fierce gunfight broke out between the armed suspects and the police. Police successfully apprehended six suspects, two of whom were injured. The injured suspects were shifted to a hospital, while the others were taken to the Investigation Cell for questioning.

A subsequent search of the hideout led to the recovery of a significant amount of weapons, narcotics, and motorcycles. The arrested suspects were identified as Muhammad Qasim alias Qaim (injured), Ali Bakhsh (injured), Jahanzeb, Shahroz Ali, Farid, and Imran. Authorities recovered four pistols, an 8mm rifle, and four motorcycles from their possession.

Additionally, eight kilograms of hashish, along with a large quantity of ice and crystal meth, were found. SSP Ali stated that the operation was conducted by the in-charge of the Anti-Street Crime Cell, who led a heavy contingent of officers.
