‘KWSC revenue rise to help solve water, sewerage issues’

Karachi Mayor Barrister Murtaza Wahab said on Friday that by increasing the revenue of the Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation (KWSC), the old and dilapidated water supply and sewerage lines are being replaced, which will help resolve the city's water and sewerage issues.
Wahab, who is also the chairman of the water corporation, mentioned that when he assumed office, the revenue of the KWSC was only Rs1.1 billion, which has now exceeded Rs1.86 billion, resulting in a 65 percent increase.
