The verification of degrees has become a headache for qualified degree holders. While fake degrees are indeed a serious problem, the Higher Education Commission must come up with ways to make the verification process easier so that anyone can check the status of a degree immediately, regardless of which country they are in. A QR code on the final degree and other digital solutions might be a good way forward.
