UN Global Initiative team visits CPO

LAHORE:A delegation of the United Nations Global Initiative visited the Central Police Office (CPO) on Friday.

The delegation featured Programme Director Ms Siom Sadaat, former Additional IG Sarmad Saeed, and Barrister Umar Mahmood Khan. The delegation members called on Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab Dr Usman Anwar and discussed issues to promote mutual cooperation between to combat international organised crime.

In the meeting it was decided that bilateral cooperation to be enhanced to address terrorism, human and drug trafficking, cybercrime, arms smuggling, and other forms of international organised crime.
